Important Points for Bank Preference
- Year of Establishment - Yeah i know many of you are thinking that "How Year of Establishment can help you to mark your Bank preference". The answer is simple "Old Is Gold". Oldest bank will not give you extra money but Old banks have a better image among people and the people can trust them more as well as they have more number of branches.
- Headquarter - On the basis of headquarter, you can choose a bank according to state where bank's headquarter is located. Example Bank of Baroda, bank has most branches in Gujarat than any other state. So students from Gujarat or near by States should mark BOB as there first preference.
- Joining Month After Selection - Dear future Bankers, after your selection, you will eager to join your allotted bank as per your preference, Some banks take joining within 3 or 4 months only and some banks take in 5 - 12 Months. See the above table.
- Number of Branches - Hey Future Banker, I know you love your family and your native palace, that is why after joining many of you want to join branches, which is near to your home. In large Banks, During the time of posting you will not face any problem or you may also allotted a branch which is near to your home place. Bank with large number of branches, post its newly appointed employees to their home location.
- Number of Employees - You may also check the number of working employees of all Public Sector Banks. Total 10 Lakh employees are working with banks.
- Salary & Allowances - All these banks have same growth opportunities and you will get almost same salary & allowances except ECGC, Exim Bank & IDBI Bank (40k+).
- Small Banks Have less work pressure than large Banks so no interference between personal and professional life.
- Bharatiya Mahila Bank can get merged with SBI in near future according to Government.
- Mark your preference according to you, You can not change it after submission of the application.
- One more thing the work pressure in large banks is more than small banks because they have more customers. This is main benefit to work with a small bank.
