The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted online examination, for the recruitment of Clerks across the country on the 6th 7th 13th 14th 20th 21th and 27th of Dec, 2014
There were 200 questions in the paper, which had to be answered in 2 hours. There were five sections in all Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry, and Computer Knowledge. All the other sections except English Language section were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections.
It is expected that more than 40 lakhs students is going to appear for IBPS CWE Clerk online exam and it is also expected that total post for both IBPS PO and Clerk are more than 50 thousand for current year 2014-15. So do more hard work so that you can secure your seat for this year in a Public Sector Bank.

Detailed Exam Analysis Based On 6th and 7th Dec


1. Numerical Ability

Questions appeared  in the same line as seen in most of the bank clerical exams.Their is nothing new to surprise for the students while dealing with this section.Compared to the last year of IBPS Clerk exam this year paper is easy and less time consuming
1. Data Interpretation- (Pie Chart or Table ) One set of 5 questions (Easy-Based On 2 Percentage + 1 Ratio + 1 Subtraction + 1 Addition)
2. Number Series - 5 Questions (3 Easy + 2 Moderate)
3. Simplifications - 10 Questions (4 BODMAS Based Fractions + 2 Square based + 2 Addition + 1 Subtraction + 1 Decimal Fraction)
4. Boats and stream - 1 Question (Formula based easy)
5. SI and CI - 3 questions - Moderate and lengthy
6. Time and work 2 questions - easy but lengthy
7. Percentage - 3 questions - 2 easy + 1 moderate
8. Age - 1 Moderate
9. Mensuration -3 questions (1 easy + 2 moderate)
10. TSD - 2 questions (1 easy + 1 moderate and lengthy)
11. Profit & loss - 2 questions easy but lengthy
12. Average - 2 questions (easy)
So According to 6th dec and 7th dec exams you can easily say that numerical ability is easy to moderate and one should do 28-32 in 35-40 minutes.

2. English 

1. Reading Comprehension - 1 RC Based on "HOW TO BECOME HAPPY" of 10 questions (Moderate) 
2. Jumbled Sentence  - 5 sentences with 5 questions (Easy) One was on "CONTENT MARKETING"
3. Error Spoting - 5  questions (4 easy + 1 Moderate)
4. Phrases - 5  questions (3 easy + 2 Moderate)
5. Fill In The Blanks - 5  questions (3 easy +  2 Moderate) 
6. Cloze Test - 10 questions (Easy to moderate)
In this section of exam we can say that this part is easy to moderate and one should do 27-32 in 25 minutes.

3. Reasoning

1. Syllogism - 5 questions (easy)
2. Data Sufficiency - 5  questions (4 easy + Moderate)
3. Sitting Arrangement - 10 questions (2 sets of 5 each - 1 easy + 1 Moderate and lengthy )
4. Inequalities - 5 Questions (easy)
5. Puzzle - 5 Questions (Moderate)
6. Miscellaneous - 10 (Easy to moderate) 
In this section of exam we can say that this part is easy to moderate and one should do 30-35 in 35 minutes.

4. General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry)

This section is easy as compared to the all other sections. Banking and Economy dominated this section. IBPS asks Questions on followings 
  1. Currency
  2. Capital
  3. Important Dates 
  4. Census
  5. Venue Of Next Summit, Sports and Meetings
  6. Sports News
  7. Organisations Headquarters
  8. Abbreviations
  9. Scheme Launched by Union & State Government
  10. Defence News 
So this part of the exam one should do 28-34 in 10-12 minutes only.

5. Computer Knowledge

In this sections of exam one can easily do 30-35 questions in 10 minutes only as questions were too easy. They are asking simple questions on basic knowledge of computer,input-output,software,hardware,MS-Office,PowerPoint,Networking,Internet and etc.

And from above analysis of IBPS CWE Clerk online exam we conclude that Exams on both 6th and 7th  dec (Morning and Evening Shifts) were easy to moderate.
